FleetAfrica’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives are a reflection of our commitment to social and community development. We believe that FleetAfrica’s CSI strategy is a demonstration of what our company symbolizes, how we conduct business, as well as how we interact with our stakeholders.

We are devoted to investing in the well-being of our communities in a socially and economically sustainable manner. We have identified education as a key focus area and have set out initiatives geared towards increasing literacy levels within our schools. We are also involved in shorter term projects that contribute to the upliftment of communities and foster a culture of entrepreneurship through skills development.

Some of our CSI initiatives:

Ngaka Maseko High School, Pretoria

FleetAfrica through the Bala Africa campaign converted the School's storeroom into a fully functional library with reading material that the students could use to prepare for assignments and exams. We continue to partner with Ngaka Maseko High School and have launched a Winter School Programme for Grade 12 students; whereby external tutors assist them with Mathematics, Science and English in preparation for their exams.

Alf Makaleng Primary School, Polokwane

FleetAfrica conducted a needs analysis in townships located within the City of Polokwane to establish where we could be of assistance, Alf Makaleng Primary School was selected as a beneficiary through this process. We built an administrative block for the school which included a library, offices and staff room. We also improved the playgrounds and built a play area for the Grade 0 - 1 learners.

Blair Atholl School

Since 2004, we have been maintaining and servicing the Blair Atholl School bus that transports children from disadvantaged backgrounds to school and back.

Gauteng Department of Education, Tshwane South District

Since 2014, FleetAfrica has been assisting Tshwane South District with its Grade 12 Moderation of School Based Assessment process. We donate funds that go towards the catering and procurement of certificates for the 160 teacher moderators and 20 district facilitators that volunteer to be part of this crucial process that accounts for 25% of the learners overall final score.

Dorcas Aid

FleetAfrica continues to partner with Dorcas Aid in their Blue Bucket campaign,we engage with Dorcas Aid on an annual basis and identify suitable charities or previously disadvantaged communities that we donate Food and Hygiene parcels to.

Splash Projects
