FleetAfrica’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives are a reflection of our commitment to social and community development. We believe that FleetAfrica’s CSI strategy is a demonstration of what our company symbolizes, how we conduct business, as well as how we interact with our stakeholders.
We are devoted to investing in the well-being of our communities in a socially and economically sustainable manner. We have identified education as a key focus area and have set out initiatives geared towards increasing literacy levels within our schools. We are also involved in shorter term projects that contribute to the upliftment of communities and foster a culture of entrepreneurship through skills development.
Some of our CSI initiatives:
Ngaka Maseko High School, Pretoria
Alf Makaleng Primary School, Polokwane
Blair Atholl School
Gauteng Department of Education, Tshwane South District
Since 2014, FleetAfrica has been assisting Tshwane South District with its Grade 12 Moderation of School Based Assessment process. We donate funds that go towards the catering and procurement of certificates for the 160 teacher moderators and 20 district facilitators that volunteer to be part of this crucial process that accounts for 25% of the learners overall final score.
FleetAfrica donated a Toyota Quantum which is on a full maintenance lease to Splash Projects, a swimming school located in the Pretoria area. The Splash Project is in essence a project to teach water safety first, but the effect of it is saving the lives of each person who undergoes the training and the lives of those they come into contact with. They assist over 131 learners from previously disadvantaged communities between the ages of 12 months and 13 years, acquire the life skill of water safety
